Police search for man last seen in Highfield Park area

Halifax police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing man.

HRP said Leslie Delaney, 59, was last seen around 8 a.m. on Aug. 19 in the Highfield Park Dr. area of Dartmouth. He was reported missing on Sunday afternoon.

Delaney is described as a white man, about 5’3″ and 145. He has white hair and a bushy white moustache. He’s said to usually travel on a black e-bike with red and white trim and wide tires.

Police also said Delaney is known to frequent the Alderney Landing area.

There’s no information to suggest he’s met with foul play.
