Below are some tips to help keep Fluffy and Fido safe this cold weather season: Never leave your pet in a cold car. It can hold in the cold just like a refrigerator. Keep your pets indoor, during the day and night. Cold temperatures can still harm your pets even though they have fur. If you leave your pets outside, give them a draft-free shelter large enough to stand and turn around in, but small enough to retain body heat. Use something to protect them against the cold like a layer of straw or a blanket. Turn the entrance away from wind and snow. Stay with your pets when taking them out for a bathroom break; if it’s too cold for you, it is too cold for them and you should head inside. Use extra caution around lakes, ponds and rivers as the ice may not be thick enough to hold you and/or your pet. Police remind citizens that if you see an animal in distress call 902-490-5020 and take direction from the call taker. 11 comments 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post حسام عيتاني : لبنان النظام وأوهام المعارضة next post ‘Don’t do it’: Premier says he will not tolerate a potential blockade at N.S.-N.B. border You may also like الصحراء الغربية في صلب محادثة بين أناند ونظيرها... 29 أبريل، 2026 رجل يقرّ بذنبه في التسبب بحريق التهم 200.000... 29 أبريل، 2026 عجز أدنى بـ11,5 مليار دولار في التحديث الاقتصادي... 29 أبريل، 2026 Liberals target affordability to meet era of uncertainty... 29 أبريل، 2026 New system allows Nova Scotians to opt in... 29 أبريل، 2026 Nova Scotians can now renew health cards online... 29 أبريل، 2026 Nova Scotians alter driving habits due to high... 29 أبريل، 2026 Halifax improving access to recreation facilities with new... 29 أبريل، 2026 كارني يشارك في القمة الثامنة للمجتمع السياسي الأوروبي 28 أبريل، 2026 انخفاض عدد السياح الوافدين إلى كوبا بـ50% في... 28 أبريل، 2026 Leave a Comment Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
