Halifax police have issued an emergency alert warning people in Dartmouth that a man in his 40s with a firearm was threatening people who are known to him and has fled the area on foot. On July 3, HRP responded to a report of money that had been turned over to police headquarters. On July 7, police responded to a report of money that had been found on the Halifax waterfront on July 6. “To claim the money, you must be able to provide details in relation the amount and denominations and any other information useful in determining ownership,” police said in a media release.
