Police look for man wanted on witness warrant

Halifax Regional Police are looking for a man wanted on a Canada-wide witness warrant.

They say Pookiel McCabe is wanted in relation to the Nova Scotia Supreme Court case against William Michael Sandeson.

Sandeson is facing a first-degree murder charge in the 2015 death of Taylor Samson.

“The Warrant for Witness was issued for evading service of a subpoena,” said HRP in a news release. “Police have been attempting to find Mr. McCabe but have not been able to locate him. “

Police believe McCabe currently lives in Toronto.
