Police locate suspect in Quingate homicide investigation

Halifax Regional Police have located 41-year old Jonathan William Pinsky in connection to a homicide investigation regarding a local woman.

Police are thanking the media and the public for their help in locating the suspect and are cautioning those to remove associated images from personal social media accounts.

On Oct. 10 just shy of 10 a.m., officers responded to a well-being check at Quingate Place in Halifax, where they found a deceased women. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service quickly ruled the death a homicide and police stated they did not believe the incident was random.

Anyone with information about the incident, or video of the area is asked to speak with police or Crime Stoppers.
