The RCMP is investigating what it’s calling a suspicious incident in Upper Tantallon that happened over the weekend.

According to the Mounties, a young girl and two children were at a park near Elk Rd. and White Birch Dr. on Sunday at around 10 a.m., when the youth noticed a dark-coloured four-door sedan with tinted windows and a loud muffler stop within view of the park.

The driver apparently passed by several times, and the youth told police she believed the driver was recording her and the children on a cellphone.

The vehicle was last seen driving away on White Birch Dr. There’s no suspect description available.

Anyone with information is asked to reach out to the RCMP or anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
