Halifax Regional Police said officers were called to Twin Oaks Rd. in Spryfield around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday to reports of a stabbing. Those officers found a 32-year-old man who had been stabbed, and police say he died in hospital. A 32-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene and police said it’s not believed this was a random incident. An autopsy was scheduled to happen Wednesday as police said the investigation was in its early stages.
