Police investigate assault in Dartmouth

Regional police are investigating an assault that took place Wednesday morning in Dartmouth.

Police said they responded to the 200 block of Wyse Road at roughly 8:30 a.m. after receiving a report of an injured person.

Officers found a man in his 50s with non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital, as a result.

Police said the investigation is in the early stages.
