Police investigate after man found unresponsive downtown

Regional Police are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred downtown on July 23.

Police say around 3:54 a.m., officers were called to the 1600 block of Argyle Street, where a man was lying unresponsive on the sidewalk in front of a business.

They say the victim was transported to hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is in the early stages but anyone with information is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
