Regional police continue to investigate the murders of Gail Stone and Richard Marriott 25 years later.

On November 20, 1998, at roughly 9:40 p.m., police say they responded to a report of a shooting at 15 Parkmoor Avenue in Halifax.

According to HRP, when officers arrived, they found both Stone and Marriott inside a home with gunshot wounds.

Marriott was dead at the scene while Stone was transported to hospital where she died four days later.

Police said Marriott was last seen at roughly 9:15 p.m., driving a maroon-coloured Dodge Caravan on Dutch Village Road and may have arrived home at roughly 9:30 p.m.

This case is part of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program which offers cash rewards of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for specified major unsolved crimes.

Anyone with information on these murders is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
