On November 20, 1998, at roughly 9:40 p.m., police say they responded to a report of a shooting at 15 Parkmoor Avenue in Halifax. According to HRP, when officers arrived, they found both Stone and Marriott inside a home with gunshot wounds. Marriott was dead at the scene while Stone was transported to hospital where she died four days later. Police said Marriott was last seen at roughly 9:15 p.m., driving a maroon-coloured Dodge Caravan on Dutch Village Road and may have arrived home at roughly 9:30 p.m. This case is part of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program which offers cash rewards of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for specified major unsolved crimes.
