Regional police says Thursday marks 15 years since the murder of Timothy John Kelly in Halifax.
The 44-year-old was found having been shot multiple times, on a sidewalk on Abbott Drive around 10 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2009. Kelly died after being rushed to hospital.
Police say the investigation found Kelly had been in contact with family and friends earlier that evening.

“Investigators believe there are people who have information that could help solve Timothy’s murder,” read a media release from police. “They are asking anyone with information, who has not already spoken with police to come forward with what they know; what may seem like an insignificant detail could be the key to progressing the investigation into Timothy’s murder.”
The case is part of the major unsolved crimes reward program, which offers cash rewards of up to $150,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
Kelly’s murder is being investigated by the Special Investigation Section of the integrated HRP/RCMP division.
