Pete’s employees voted overwhelmingly to join the Service Employees International Union Local 2 last year, but say they are still without a contract from Sobey’s, which owns the store. According to striking workers, many employees are working for minimum wage and the last offer from the company called for a wage increase of five cents per hour. Striking Pete’s Frootique workers along with supporters gathered Sunday for a rally at the location on Dresden Row, which remains closed “until further notice”. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post خطر الإصابة بالخرف والسكتة الدماغية مرتبط بالعمر البيولوجي next post Northern mainland and parts of Cape Breton under Snow Squall Watch You may also like جامعة غويلف: ارتفاع عدد الطلاب المصابين بإنفلونزا المعدة... 9 يناير، 2025 كنديون يبدون آراءهم في كلام ترامب عن ’’الولاية... 9 يناير، 2025 كندا تعدّ ردّاً على الرسوم الجمركية التي هدّدها... 9 يناير، 2025 مطالب بمزيد من التمويل للتعليم في شمال أونتاريو 9 يناير، 2025 Bible Hill suspicious death ruled homicide, says RCMP 9 يناير، 2025 Hot water overflow, not chemical leak, prompted emergency... 9 يناير، 2025 Pedestrian injuries: Advocate says Halifax goals for safety... 9 يناير، 2025 RCMP investigate Mahone Bay deaths as intimate partner... 9 يناير، 2025 Pictou County man wanted on province-wide warrant arrested 9 يناير، 2025 Nova Scotia sees 35 per cent drop in... 9 يناير، 2025
