Pete’s employees voted overwhelmingly to join the Service Employees International Union Local 2 last year, but say they are still without a contract from Sobey’s, which owns the store. According to striking workers, many employees are working for minimum wage and the last offer from the company called for a wage increase of five cents per hour. Striking Pete’s Frootique workers along with supporters gathered Sunday for a rally at the location on Dresden Row, which remains closed “until further notice”. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post خطر الإصابة بالخرف والسكتة الدماغية مرتبط بالعمر البيولوجي next post Northern mainland and parts of Cape Breton under Snow Squall Watch You may also like Halifax RCMP seeking wanted man from Lake Echo 15 مايو، 2025 Summer-like heat hits HRM with record temperatures possible... 15 مايو، 2025 N.S.
