As of 11 a.m. Tuesday, a special weather statement was updated to include most of northern, central and southwestern Nova Scotia. It says those areas could see a “significant” period of freezing rain Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The national forecaster added current guidance, as of early Tuesday morning, showed northern and central Nova Scotia getting the longest duration of freezing rain.
