One charged after three stabbed Thursday

A man is facing multiple charges after three people were stabbed Thursday night.

Halifax Regional Police were called to Joseph Howe Drive at around 7:45 p.m. where they found three men with stab wounds.

Police say the suspect — who was known to the victims –was gone by the time they arrived.

The three victims were taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A K9 unit was called in to help look for a suspect and officers soon made an arrest.

Khadga Bahadur Mukhiya Sunuwar, 30, is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face three counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a dangerous weapon.
