The Nova Scotia Nurses Union says its members voted 87 per cent in favour of the new agreement. The union says the new five-year contract is expected to include improvements to wages, premiums, safety and work-life balance. “We call our VON members road warriors because they’re in their cars and on the road, regardless of the weather, providing care to clients in their homes. They face many of the same issues experienced by nurses in other areas of care, but also challenges that are unique to their practice. While bargaining for our VON member we considered their uniqueness and their value to the communities in which they work,” said Janet Hazelton, president of the NSNU. The union says it represents more than 900 LPNs and RNs who work in the community. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post New pilot program from N.S. government allows seniors to stay at home next post Nova Scotia 2023-24 budget on track with deficit forecast of $264 million: minister You may also like Some mandatory water use restrictions introduced for areas... 27 نوفمبر، 2024 Paul Bernardo denied parole after victims’ families plead... 27 نوفمبر، 2024 N.S. election officials say results to be delayed... 27 نوفمبر، 2024 Nova Scotia 2024 election results 26 نوفمبر، 2024 ترودو يجتمع برؤساء حكومات المقاطعات غداً للبحث في... 26 نوفمبر، 2024 ترامب يعلن رسوماً جمركية على كندا والمكسيك، والمزيد... 26 نوفمبر، 2024 الحكومة تأمل في أن تعالج إجراءاتُها المعيشية ’’اهتزازاً... 26 نوفمبر، 2024 كندا مستعدة للتحرك ’’بشكل أسرع‘‘ لتحقيق هدف الـ2%... 26 نوفمبر، 2024 Nova Scotia Tories appear safe with close battle... 25 نوفمبر، 2024 Canada Post says it’s down 10 million parcels... 25 نوفمبر، 2024
