That’s according to a new poll by Narrative Research. Nova Scotia is currently in Phase 2 of its reopening plan. When we enter Phase 3 on March 21, we won’t have gathering limits, physical distancing or mask restrictions. The survey says 73 per cent of Nova Scotians support easing restrictions, but only 48 per cent are in favour of removing the wearing of masks in public places. As of February 28, Nova Scotians no longer have to show proof of vaccination for non-essential activities, such as going to a restaurant or gym, or attending sports, arts and culture events. According to the poll, 61 per cent of Nova Scotians support this move, while 35 per cent oppose it. “In general, younger residents are more supportive of the easing of restrictions compared with older residents,” said Narrative Research in a news release. “In addition, men are more likely to support the easing of restrictions compared with women.” As for how quickly restrictions are easing, 47 per cent think the pace is good, 34 per cent feel things are moving too quickly, and 14 per cent think we’re going too slowly. The results are based on 1,212 Nova Scotians who shared their opinions through an online panel called East Coast Voice from March 4 to 8. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Nova Scotia Health warns of phone scams next post Halifax regional council narrowly approves police budget You may also like ستة كنديين بين الناشطين الذين أوقفتهم إسرائيل قبالة... 18 مايو، 2026 Province puts aside money to ensure affordable housing... 18 مايو، 2026 Ottawa still pledging to double construction pace despite... 18 مايو، 2026 Tides FC looks for rebound win in Victoria... 18 مايو، 2026 U.S. says it’s pausing long-standing military board with... 18 مايو، 2026 THREE HRM restaurants make country’s top 100 outdoor...
