Anxiety has been building in Nova Scotia, with several weather models predicting Lee to impact the province as early as this coming weekend. But the CHC’s Ian Hubbard said no one knows for sure where the storm will go just yet. “It could go anywhere from New England or just past to the east of Newfoundland at this point,” Hubbard told CityNews on Monday afternoon. “That’s what we’re seeing from the models and ensembles that we use. As we get closer to the event arriving, that will narrow down and we’ll see where it’s going to go.” Hubbard expects that by Wednesday it should be clearer whether Nova Scotia will see a direct impact. He added information statements for impacts on Canadian waters may be issued as early as later in the day Monday. “By mid-week, maybe another two days, we’ll start to see (where the storm will go). There will still be uncertainty with that being three or four days out, but it’ll start to narrow down,” Hubbard explained. It’s been a challenging summer already for Nova Scotia, with wildfires and deadly flooding impacting the province. It’s also nearly been one year since Fiona ravaged Atlantic Canada as one of the most intense cyclones on record for Canada. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Man charged after robbery in Dartmouth next post إسرائيل تتهم إيران بإنشاء مطار جنوب لبنان لشن هجمات عليها You may also like Wind and rainfall warnings issued for parts of... 2024 New poll shows Houston’s PCs maintaining big lead... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Cape Breton Police issue emergency alert as they... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Safety board calls for changes two years after... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Fuel prices rise across Nova Scotia 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Halifax International Security Forum begins 16th year amid... 22 نوفمبر، 2024
