In its epidemiologic summary for last month, which was released today, the province is also reporting 205 hospitalizations and 4,664 PCR positive results. In August there were 49 deaths, 208 hospitalizations and 6883 positive PCR tests. “Deaths are subject to a lag in reporting,” the summary cautioned. “The number of deaths reported in the current and previous months should be interpreted with caution.” It added age and lack of vaccination continue to be associated with severe outcomes. “Nova Scotians aged 70+ have been hospitalized at almost 17 times the rate of those 18-49 years of age and their rate of death is 181 higher compared to those under 50 years of age,” the summary stated. “Unvaccinated Nova Scotians were hospitalized at almost three times (2.8) the rate and died at three times (3.0) times the rate as those with three or more doses.” 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Did you lose some cash last week next post Fiona funds: Ottawa earmarks $100 million for lost fishing gear, repair to harbours You may also like CBC : Canada keeps historic World Cup run... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Israël, le Liban et les États-Unis annoncent... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Carney se justifie d’avoir évité de mentionner... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: L’Ontario n’augmentera pas le nombre limite de... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Why Europe can’t air condition its way... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Rescue workers in Venezuela race to free... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Iran and Egypt will headline Seattle’s ’Pride... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: B.C. police issue arrest warrant for former... 28 يونيو، 2026 راديو كندا الدولي: كندا وتركيا تدرسان إمكانية التعاون... 28 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: New technology that unifies harbour activity... 27 يونيو، 2026
