Nova Scotia Health facilities having issue with phone lines Wednesday

Nova Scotia Health is advising patients, clients and families of a phone line service disruption.

Patients, clients and families calling Nova Scotia Health facilities may receive a message stating, “the customer you have dialed is currently not available, please try your call again later,” or the phone will ring several times and then disconnect. The option to leave voicemail messages may also not be available.

Internal calling and outside calls to internal lines within the facilities are not affected.

Services across the Atlantic provinces are impacted and Bell Aliant is working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
