Elections Nova Scotia has announced the agency will not be printing voter information cards because of the looming postal strike. “It was a difficult decision not to print VICs but we wanted to make sure there was a clear message for voters if there is a postal strike,” says Dorothy Rice, Chief Electoral Officer of Nova Scotia. “It is important for voters in Nova Scotia to know that they can vote without a VIC, simply go to a voting location and the election workers will assist you.” Related: A look at the leaders of the Nova Scotia parties Five key issues as Nova Scotia heads into a provincial election campaign From bridge tolls to rotisserie chickens, N.S. parties campaign on affordability Voter information cards are typically sent to registered voters with information on where and when to vote. Elections Nova Scotia says voters can head to its website and use the ‘Where do I vote’ tool to find their voting location. “Voters can take their current ID with them when they go to vote but it is not necessary. Voters in Nova Scotia can vote without ID by taking an oath to attest to their eligibility,” the agency said in a media release. In order to vote, you must be 18-year-old as of Tuesday, Nov. 26, be a Canadian citizen and have lived in Nova Scotia since April 27, 2024. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Missing Newfoundland man could be in Halifax, police say next post Woman dies after being hit by Halifax Transit bus on Spring Garden Road You may also like ستة كنديين بين الناشطين الذين أوقفتهم إسرائيل قبالة... 18 مايو، 2026 Province puts aside money to ensure affordable housing... 18 مايو، 2026 Ottawa still pledging to double construction pace despite... 18 مايو، 2026 Tides FC looks for rebound win in Victoria... 18 مايو، 2026 U.S. says it’s pausing long-standing military board with... 18 مايو، 2026 THREE HRM restaurants make country’s top 100 outdoor...
