No injuries reported after fire at Middle Sackville home

Halifax Fire crews responded to a fire at a home in Middle Sackville on Monday morning.

Deputy Chief Dave Meldrum said crews were called to Larrigan Dr. around 9:20 a.m. where they found a fire in the basement of a house.

The person inside got out before firefighters arrived, he said.

Crews managed to bring the fire under control, and Meldrum said an investigation into the fire is underway.
