On Jan. 16, 2024, police received a report that Zachery Vaughan Kellock left his home in Truro in a vehicle with two other people and never returned. He was last seen at a home on Millbrook First Nation. “Zach’s disappearance was considered suspicious from day one,” says Cpl. Jennifer Tichonchuk, an officer on the case. “And we’ve been investigating his disappearance as a homicide.” Police believe criminality was involved in his disappearance, as his body has not been recovered. Charges have not been laid. “Someone may have the missing piece that investigators need,” said Becky Druhan, Attorney General and Minister of Justice. “I urge anyone with details about what happened to Mr. Kellock to contact the rewards program and help bring justice and closure for his family, friends and loved ones.” Related: Truro man who disappeared one year ago still missing: Police Anyone with information regarding Kellock’s disappearance is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
