Mounties plead for information as search continues for missing senior

The RCMP has issued a plea for information more than two months after a man disappeared from Antigonish.

Derek Kruger, 78, was last seen at a gas station in that town on Sept. 29. A search got underway on Oct. 4, after Kruger’s car was found on a logging road in the Greenfield area.

Kruger is described as 5’4″ with brown hair. He wears glasses and a hearing aid.

The police said there is no reason to believe there’s a criminal element to Kruger’s disappearance.

Anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, is asked to get in touch with police. The RCMP said investigators are particularly interested in information about Kruger’s whereabouts at the end of September into early October.
