On Thursday, Mounties received a report of mischief at Porters Lake Elementary School on Inspiration Drive. Police said officers learned that graffiti, containing a derogatory word, had been spray painted on playground equipment sometime the night before. “Information and evidence gathered by investigators indicates that the mischief was motivated by hate based on race,” police said in a release.
