The national health department says the stuffed animals do not meet safety regulations because the toys’ hard plastic eyes can detach and pose a choking hazard to young children. The recall includes stuffed elephants, giraffes, lions, tigers and panda toys that are attached with a smaller baby version of the animal. All the affected products were manufactured in China and can be identified by the Item Number P273585 and UPC 8140239986. As of December 16, 2024, the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. Health Canada advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled toys and return them to where they were purchased for a refund. The company reportedly sold 120 units of the affected products across the country between May 2023 and December 2024. Consumers are reminded to report any health or safety incidents by filling out a consumer product incident report form with Health Canada. For more information, consumers can contact Chantia Sales by telephone at 416-251-1234, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, Monday to Friday or by email at harry@chantiasales.com. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Police seeking information in two deaths ruled as homicides next post Buoyed by election win, Nova Scotia premier tones down rhetoric toward Ottawa You may also like Trump grants auto tariff pause, tariffs on Canada... 2025 ‘History will judge him’: Houston takes aim at... 6 مارس، 2025 Multiple arrests made in Nova Scotia drug trafficking... 6 مارس، 2025 ‘We will not back down’: Trudeau says Canada... 5 مارس، 2025 Province hits back at U.S. tariffs with toll... 5 مارس، 2025 Man arrested in B.C. brought back to N.S.... 5 مارس، 2025 Commerce secretary says US likely to meet Canada... 5 مارس، 2025 N.S. failing to hold universities account for spending,... 5 مارس، 2025
