The school, part of the University of Prince Edward Island, is increasing the number of seats reserved for first-year Nova Scotians from 16 to 24. “Nova Scotia needs more veterinarians to care for our animals,” said Advanced Education minister Brian Wong in a news release. “We’ve had a positive partnership with the Atlantic Veterinary College for many years, and we’re looking to continue investing in the college to offer a high-quality education in veterinary medicine, while increasing the number of available seats to train the veterinarians Nova Scotia needs.” As part of the five-year agreement between the province and the school, students will have to do at least six weeks of their clinical rotation in Nova Scotia and work three years in the province after graduating and being licensed. The Atlantic Veterinary College is the only post-secondary institution that offers the doctor of veterinary medicine program in Atlantic Canada. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Father, son charged for alleged terrorist activities in GTA were planning ‘violent attack’ in Toronto next post Universities in Atlantic Canada worried about big drop expected in foreign students You may also like جامعة غويلف: ارتفاع عدد الطلاب المصابين بإنفلونزا المعدة... 9 يناير، 2025 كنديون يبدون آراءهم في كلام ترامب عن ’’الولاية... 9 يناير، 2025 كندا تعدّ ردّاً على الرسوم الجمركية التي هدّدها... 9 يناير، 2025 مطالب بمزيد من التمويل للتعليم في شمال أونتاريو 9 يناير، 2025 Bible Hill suspicious death ruled homicide, says RCMP 9 يناير، 2025 Hot water overflow, not chemical leak, prompted emergency... 9 يناير، 2025 Pedestrian injuries: Advocate says Halifax goals for safety... 9 يناير، 2025 RCMP investigate Mahone Bay deaths as intimate partner... 9 يناير، 2025 Pictou County man wanted on province-wide warrant arrested 9 يناير، 2025 Nova Scotia sees 35 per cent drop in... 9 يناير، 2025
