The free passes will be available to all students in grades 7 to 12 in the Halifax Regional Centre for Education and CSAP. “Through the Student Transit Pass Pilot Program, we are making life more affordable for families,” said Becky Druhan, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development. “The program gives students the independence to travel to and from school, as well as explore and learn about their community. And it promotes sustainability by getting students familiar with the public transit system.” Government says the program, which comes at a cost of $1.2 million from the province and $600,000 from Halifax, will see more than 28,000 students receive passes. Since 2021, the province had been running a pilot program of free transit passes at 10 schools. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post غامض لا يعرف عنه الكثير.. باريس تلاحق شقيق مؤسس تليغرام next post Nova Scotians overwhelmingly support cellphone bans in schools You may also like v 20 سبتمبر، 2024 More pharmacies added to community primary care clinic... 20 سبتمبر، 2024 Head of committee monitoring response to N.S. mass... 19 سبتمبر، 2024 Wednesday’s hot weather breaks 125-year-old record in Halifax... 19 سبتمبر، 2024 Local authors focusing on upcoming literature event in... 19 سبتمبر، 2024 لوغو طلب من الكتلة الكيبيكية إسقاط ترودو لكنها... 19 سبتمبر، 2024 كندا ’’ملعب‘‘ للتدخل الأجنبي وفقاً لنائب كندي 19 سبتمبر، 2024 كندا تمتنع عن التصويت على مشروع قرار يدعو... 19 سبتمبر، 2024 خفض عدد الطلاب الأجانب في كندا بـ10% إضافية 19 سبتمبر، 2024 Canadian Coast Guard crew member lost at sea... 18 سبتمبر، 2024
