More province-wide arrest warrants have been issued for the man wanted in connection to the murder of Prabhjot Singh Katri in Truro.

RCMP in Colchester County and Pictou County say Marcus Michael Denny of Pictou Landing First Nation is wanted for offences that occurred on July 1 and October 17.

The 22-year-old is facing charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, impaired operation of a conveyance, impaired operation over 80mg%, resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer and failure to comply with a condition of a release order.

Last month, Truro Police Service issued a warrant for Denny, saying he had been charged with accessory after the fact to murder in the killing of Singh Katri.

Singh Katri was found with serious injuries when emergency crews were called to a Truro apartment building just after 2 a.m. on Monday, September 5. The 23-year-old was rushed to hospital where he died.

“Police have made several attempts to locate Marcus Denny, however are requesting assistance from the public,” said RCMP in a news release.

If you spot Denny, do not approach him, call police.
