The nine modular units set to open in Halifax, with a capacity for 44 individuals, won’t be ready until late January. The wait is a bit shorter in Dartmouth, as another four modular units are expected to open on Alderney Drive by Dec 20. As of November 23, there are 422 Nova Scotians experiencing homelessness in HRM.
