Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Special Operations Forces Command members will be in Halifax, Lawrencetown, Waverley and the Debert area as part of a training exercise. The Department of National Defence (DND) said as part of the exercise people may see military aircraft and uniformed and non-uniformed military personnel with weapons. Military officials do say that while members will be carrying weapons, only training ammunition and training explosives will be used.
