They say the man was going door-to-door telling people he was with the Fairview United Church. “Police are advising that the man is not associated with the church and this is a scam,” said HRP in a news release. The suspect is described as white and around 5’8″. He had been wearing a black winter hat with a yellow logo, a teal puffy winter jacket and jeans.
