Man found dead after dirt bike crash in East Chester

A man is dead after a dirt bike crash in the East Chester area.

In a release on Tuesday morning, RCMP said officers were called Monday about a 39-year-old man missing from East River who was last heard from on Apr. 21. His dirtbike was also missing.

The Mounties said the man was found in a ditch off of Hwy. 3 in East Chester and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the investigation shows the man had been riding his dirt bike when he left the road and was thrown from the vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing.
