Officers were called just before 5 p.m. Sunday to a report of gunshots near the intersection of Cain and Clarence streets, according to the RCMP. “Upon arrival, officers found 28-year-old Jayden Tynes suffering from gunshot wounds,” police wrote in a media release. “Tynes was transported to hospital by EHS where he later succumbed to his injuries.” Police say the investigation is being led by the Major Crimes Unit, which involves both the RCMP and Halifax Regional Police.
