Man damaged property and assaulted people early Thursday

Halifax Regional Police are looking for a man seen damaging property and assaulting people early Thursday along Spring Garden Road.

Police say at around 12:15 a.m., the man used objects he found in the area to smash business windows and damage vehicles.

A number of people in the area were assaulted, but none of them needed medical treatment.

The suspect was seen leaving the area on a bicycle.

He’s described as in his 30s, around 6 feet tall, a medium build and bald with a beard. He had been wearing a white shirt, jean shorts and had a black backpack.
