Man charged with sexual offences after incident at Mic Mac Mall

Regional police have charged a man with sexual offences after an incident in Dartmouth on Wednesday.

At roughly 2 p.m., officers responded to Mic Mac Mall for a report of a suspicious man who was seen approaching and touching a person who he didn’t know.

Police said officers arrested the man at the scene after a brief foot chase and struggle.

Cole William George Fidgen, 27, was scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court on Thursday to face charges related to sexual offences, resisting arrest and failing to comply with court orders.
