Man charged with dangerous driving following Thursday crash

He’s also been charged with impaired driving offences

A man is facing several charges following a crash in Dartmouth early Thursday morning.

Halifax Regional Police were called to Prince Albert Road just before 2 a.m.

They say a driver appeared to be speeding when the vehicle crossed the centre line and crashed into an oncoming vehicle.

The driver of the first vehicle was arrested for impaired driving, while the other driver was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A 36-year-old man will go to court at a later date to face charges of dangerous operation of a conveyance, impaired operation of a conveyance and operating a conveyance with a blood alcohol concentration over 80mg%.
