The Mounties say on the afternoon of Oct. 3, officers were called to a home on Sherri Lane, where a man had allegedly thrown a “light incendiary device.” Police say the fire did not damage the home. “With the help of the public, investigators identified Shawn Michael Deschenes, 51, of Beaver Bank, as the person responsible for the incident,” police wrote in a media release. “Deschenes and the occupants of the home are known to each other.” Deschenes was arrested after showing up to the Lower Sackville RCMP detatchment at the request of investigators. He is facing charges including arson and was expected to have a second court appearance on Wednesday. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Man charged with second-degree murder for 2022 East Preston homicide next post Fourteen-year-old girl pleads guilty to manslaughter in Halifax teen’s stabbing death You may also like World Cup trophy tour comes to Halifax 23 مايو، 2026 Halifax police warn public to watch their drinks... 2026 Alderney service back to reduced schedule three days... 22 مايو، 2026 Gas prices to change again as interrupter is... 22 مايو، 2026 First-degree murder charge laid in case of missing... 22 مايو، 2026 N.S. resort is the latest using high-tech blankets... 22 مايو، 2026 Drugs and weapons seized at a home in... 22 مايو، 2026
