On Jan. 21, Mounties received a report of a man who made threats involving firearms. Police said an investigation was launched which lead to officers searching a home in Chester Basin on Jan. 23 where they seized nine firearms including two restricted firearms, ammunition and magazines, improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), and unassembled parts for the construction of IIDs.
