Halifax Regional Police were told two males were breaking into vehicles at around 2 a.m. on Shaunslieve Dr., off the Bedford Highway south of Larry Uteck Blvd. When officers arrived, they saw two suspects take off in a vehicle, which was found abandoned further north along the Bedford Highway in the Mill Cove area. One suspect was arrested nearby. Then at about 4 a.m., police got a report of someone was breaking into a home on Glenmont Avenue. Officers arrested a male youth in the area and they believe he had been behind the wheel of the vehicle that took off from Shaunslieve Dr. Police say they recovered some of the property that had been stolen from the home.
