On Monday, the carrier issued a Red Alert, cancelling all mail service and closing offices in the province after historic flooding. In a Tuesday morning update, Canada Post said offices were reopening and mail would be collected and delivered where it’s safe to do so. “The company has issued a yellow alert for Nova Scotia, with mail services unavailable in some areas due to safety concerns or access issues,” a statement read.
