MacKay Bridge closure scheduled this weekend

If you need to drive across the harbour this weekend, you’ll need to take the Macdonald.

The MacKay Bridge is scheduled to be closed again this weekend.

Halifax Harbour Bridges says the span will shut down at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 and it’s not scheduled to reopen until 5:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20.

Crews will be replacing the expansion joint on the Dartmouth approach.
