Lunenburg RCMP ask for public’s help finding 54-year-old man

Lunenburg RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding a 54-year-old man.

Mounties said Melvin William Townsend was last seen walking Hwy. 10 in Cookville on the evening of June 13.

Townsend is described as 5’2, approximately 245 pounds, with hazel eyes and a shaved head. He is known to travel on a black bicycle with oversized tires.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Melvin is asked to contact Lunenburg District RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
