Lower Sackville house fire which claimed life of 6-year-old child not suspicious: RCMP

Police say a house fire that claimed the life of a child in Lower Sackville is not believed to be suspicious.

On Saturday at roughly 3:10 a.m., emergency crews responded to a house fire on Riverside Drive.

Mounties said a number of victims were taken to hospital by EHS, including a six-year old child who was pronounced dead.

At this time, investigators can say that the fire is not believed to be suspicious but the investigation is ongoing.
