Atlantic Superstore on Barrington Street in Halifax CANADAHALIFAX news Loblaw going back to 50 per cent off discounts on expiring items by admin 21 يناير، 2024 written by admin 21 يناير، 2024 143 CITYnews hlifax /By Mark Hodgins Loblaw, the company that operates Atlantic Superstore, has changed course on a controversial plan to lower its discount on last-day sale items. Earlier this week, news broke that Loblaw would be lowering its discount from 50 per cent off to 30 per cent off. In a statement to CityNews 95.7 on Friday evening, the company confirmed the reversal. “We’ve listened to feedback from our customers and colleagues and are reverting (where it existed before) to the 50 per cent off discounts,” the statement from Loblaw Public Relations read. Loblaw said the change had not yet been implemented in Atlantic Canada and will not be. Elsewhere in the country it said customers can expect to see a return of 50 per cent off stickers in the coming weeks. The announcement comes one day after NDP House Leader Peter Julien told CityNews the Competition Bureau needed to take a look at what he called “clear gouging.” 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post RCMP charge Lower Sackville man with drugs, weapons offences next post Mooseheads end home losing streak with 3-2 over Chicoutimi You may also like Police involved in power pole crash while chasing... 28 أبريل، 2026 Three drivers in HRM charged with stunting 28 أبريل، 2026 كندا لا تزال تراجع خطتها لشراء مقاتلات ’’إف... 28 أبريل، 2026 كارني يُعلن إنشاء أوّل صندوق سيادي للثروة الوطنية... 28 أبريل، 2026 Manitoba man killed in Shubenacadie car crash 27 أبريل، 2026 Prime Minister Mark Carney announces Canada’s 1st sovereign... 27 أبريل، 2026 Power restored after thousands in the dark in...
