Police are sharing a photo of drugs and cash after seizing it from a traffic stop. (RCMP) CANADAHALIFAX news Large drug bust after targeted traffic stop in Lower Sackville by admin 2 مايو، 2025 written by admin 2 مايو، 2025 14 CITYnews halifax / By Natasha O’Neill Two people are facing charges after Mounties conducted a targeted traffic stop along a Lower Sackville highway. The RCMP said on April 29, they followed up on an ongoing drug trafficking investigation with additional enforcement. Units from the provincial police force and Halifax Regional Police assisted in conducting a targeted traffic stop on Highway 101. There, they were able to arrest the driver, a 30-year-old man from Lower Sackville. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of cocaine, methamphetamines and cash. Later that night, officers searched a home on Quinella Crescent in the municipality, where they arrested a 26-year-old Lower Sackville woman. Brandon Scott Sanford and Kaitlyn Kristina Starratt have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (two counts) and possession of property obtained by crime. Both the accused will return to a Dartmouth court in July.
