CITYnews halifax \ Tyler Dunne Listen to this article The Halifax Regional Municipality announced Thursday, Aug. 18, Kinap Beach is closed to swimming. The beach has been closed due to high levels of bacteria in the water. Municipal staff regularly tests water quality at all supervised beaches during the summer months, and recent tests show bacteria levels exceed guidelines set by Health Canada for swimming. High bacteria levels can be caused by several factors, including dogs, birds, wildlife, and high temperatures. Staff will continue testing the water until bacteria levels return to safe levels. The municipality will advise residents when the beach reopens. Check the municipality’s website for more information on Halifax’s municipal beaches and outdoor pools. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Possible blue-green algae risk at Oakfield Beach next post سقط المخرج والكاميرا تحت رصاص الروس… ونجا الفيلم You may also like The latest on Trump tariffs: Senate passes resolution... 3 أبريل، 2025 Taxpayers on the hook for demolition of Bloomfield... 3 أبريل، 2025 Religious gathering cancelled in N.S. because of fears... 3 أبريل، 2025 Driver faces multiple charges following collision in Spryfield 3 أبريل، 2025 Africville reunion shooting added to unsolved crime rewards... 3 أبريل، 2025 أونتاريو: رفع الحدّ الأدنى للأجور إلى 17,6 دولاراً... 3 أبريل، 2025 ألاسكا ترغب في اعتماد قرار يؤكد سيادة كندا 3 أبريل، 2025 CBC News : Compare the election promises of... 2 أبريل، 2025 Police identify Dartmouth murder victim, ask for help... 2 أبريل، 2025 Halifax firefighters’ union decries risks after multiple fires... 2 أبريل، 2025
