A 66-year-old man is dead after a fatal collision yesterday in South Greenwood.

Kings District RCMP say they were called to Hall Road around 1:45 p.m. after reports of a single vehicle crash.

Officers say they learned the vehicle had left the road and ended up in a ditch.

The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Hall Road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
