Interrupter clause will change price of diesel

The adjustment at midnight will not affect gasoline

The price of diesel will change at midnight Friday into Saturday.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board will be invoking the interrupter clause.

“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil,” the UARB said in a news release.

The board did not indicate if the new price would be higher or lower.

In its regular weekly adjustment, the UARB dropped the price of diesel 9.9 cents to 241.1.

This interrupter clause will not affect gasoline prices, which went up 1.5 cents at midnight Thursday into Friday, putting the minimum price for regular self-serve at 171.1.
