Firefighters and other first responders were called to an address on Sandy Court in Aylesford around 7:05 a.m. after a report of a fire inside a home. Police officers arriving on the scene learned that a window air conditioning unit had caught fire, and the blaze was isolated to one room of the house. A neighbour had pulled the unit from the window and put out the flames before the arrival of the first responders but was unable to get into the house because of thick smoke. When they arrived, firefighters made entry and found the victim and brought him outside to a waiting ambulance. The man was taken to hospital but later died. The Nova Scotia Fire Marshall’s office is investigating, but preliminary indications are that the fire’s cause was not suspicious. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Woman faces charges after alleged assault in Spryfield next post Halifax police officer will not be charged in fatal Dartmouth shooting: police watchdog You may also like Man faces long list of charges after standoff... 13 مارس، 2025 استطلاع: 40% من الكنديين يخشون فقدان وظائفهم 13 مارس، 2025 كندا تخفف العقوبات المالية عن سوريا وتندّد بالمجازر... 13 مارس، 2025 ‘Get ready for a wild ride’: Weather Network... 13 مارس، 2025 Clear skies expected in much of Nova Scotia... 13 مارس، 2025 Nova Scotia NDP urging public to weigh in... 13 مارس، 2025 Unsafe tap water is common in Newfoundland.
