Today, we’ll see temperatures in the 25 C, and with the humidity factored in, it will feel more like 30 C. Allister Aalders, 95.7 weather specialist, says that’s just the beginning. “Temperatures and humidity really peak on Tuesday, and for some of us on Wednesday,” said Aalders. “Tuesday highs between 27 and 30 C, with humidex values between 33 and 39 C.” Aalders says a cold front moving in on Wednesday won’t have much impact on the high temperatures, with the mercury expected to hit 29 C. The average high is 21 C,” he said. On Thursday, the humidity will move out of the region, and temperatures are expected to drop to a more seasonable high of 23 C. Heat and cooler norms in Canada This high heat is causing temperatures to soar in other parts of Canada and force cooler norms in others. According to Environment Canada meteorologist Julien Pellerin, scorching heat is expected to continue in most of Ontario and Quebec. Pellerin says he expects Ontario and Quebec to hit their peak daytime highs on Monday and Tuesday with temperatures rising above 30 C, and the humidex making it feel more like 40 to 45 C, depending on the region. The weather agency warned that areas in British Columbia could face heavy showers, and over some of the highway summits, the possibility of wet snow. Pellerin says the Prairies are also experiencing colder-than-normal temperatures and severe thunderstorms that can be linked to the extreme heat elsewhere. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Minor offshore earthquake detected southeast of Halifax next post Bike lanes back on council agenda with new motion from deputy mayor You may also like Gas prices to change as energy board invokes... 10 مارس، 2026 Operating rooms closed at Victoria General after weekend... 10 مارس، 2026 Halifax considers asking province to create centralized dangerous... 10 مارس، 2026 RCMP in N.S. continue cannabis crackdown with more... 10 مارس، 2026 Cape Breton arts centre says tourism will be... 2026 Wilkie wins Canada’s first gold medal at Milan... 8 مارس، 2026 Iranian state TV says Mojtaba Khamenei, son of... 8 مارس، 2026 Missing police badge recovered in proactive traffic stop 8 مارس، 2026
